MOVING INTO THE CENTER OF THE HEAD

MOVING INTO THE CENTER OF THE HEAD

A QUESTION AND ANSWER TO SHARE:

Some dear friends tell me that they are not able to practice affirmations, or any other meditation techniques with full concentration.

ANSWER:
Before practicing any spiritual technique, we need to take back our power and live from the place of our wisdom.
The place of our power is the center of the head.
Moving into the center of the head, is actually an INITIATION.

From childhood we have given away our power to family, friends, teachers, bosses etc. in order to get their approval, appreciation, and love.  We danced to their tunes, even though we did not like it. We allowed them to sit in the center of our head and dictate our life according to their rules.
Out of the need for love, approval and appreciation we stopped listening to our wisdom within and we have not been true to ourselves. Turing our backs on our being has created so much of hurt within us, this made us lose our joy. We start searching for joy on the outside and give away more of our power to the wrong people and get addicted to things in order to get back the joy we lost.

So the moment we gave away our power for love, approval or appreciation, all the people in our life ( Father, mother, teacher, friend, co-worker etc. ) came and sat in the place of our power ( the center of the head).  It is funny to notice that we do certain things and create certain likes and dislikes in our life which resemble that of our parents, friends, etc. these likes and dislikes are not by our trying out certain things, we just accepted the beliefs of the people around us.

So all these years we are running our life by their rules and we are not truthful towards ourselves on the inside and hence it hurts so much. Since we are doing all that they want us to do, we lost touch with the wisdom and talents that we are born with. We find that life is tough, boring, or that it is a rat race, this is because we are not doing what we were meant to do, we are doing the things other people decided for us.

When you consciously do the exercise of being in the center of  your head, all the other people who have been sitting in the center of your head and dictating your life will have to go away.

Before practicing any other spiritual technique or meditation it is very important to take back our power by focusing ourselves in the center of our head as many times as we can during the day. Go through everyday activity by being in the center of the head.  Just take time to try it everyday and it will become very easy to live from this space.  This practice will enable us to run our lives from our wisdom, gifted to us by the Creator, this simple conscious focus will help us live our lives effortlessly.

MOVING INTO THE CENTER OF THE HEAD

Sit in a straight back chair, place your feet flat on the floor, and close your eyes. Notice your breathing, breathe from your belly, notice your belly expand with every in-breath, and contract with every out-breath. Continue to breath in this manner.  Now in your mind’s eye imagine a cord of light from the base of your spine extending down to the heart of the Earth and grounding you firmly.
The center of the head is a place approximately an inch behind the center where your eyebrows meet. Now  place your awareness in this place. You will definitely feel something here, a tingling sensation, a warmth or a heaviness. This is because you have reached the place of your power.
Practice being in the center of your head everyday as many times as you can, also practice moving around and doing your day to day chores by seating yourself in the center of your head and looking at the world through the eyes as windows.

The more we are able to practice this the more easy it becomes, and then all other spiritual work like reciting mantras/ affirmations or meditations become much easier to practice, because we are doing this from our wisdom and power and not from someone else's beliefs.

A QEUSTION AND ANSWER TO SHARE

A QUESTION AND ANSWER TO SHARE

Some friends ask what is 'loving the Self, ' what is the Self that we need to love?

ANSWER:
The Self is the ALL. The body, mind, soul, spirit... everything.
There is no separation, only the mind likes to separate and put things in a box and label them because that is how the mind works.
It is a good tool for problem solving in the physical.
The Self is the all, but the mind can only connect with the body and not beyond it. The mind was created to protect and preserve the body, because of this important work the ego was created. In order to preserve and survive, the mind tries to make us fit in with everything that it finds to be beneficial.
If we get mesmerized by the mind we forget who we really are and we go by the dictates of the mind which is constantly attentive to "what is wrong, what is wrong" . The mind stories are all about fear, because it has no connection with anything other than itself, to be on the safer side it weaves huge stories of fear about everything so that it can do a good job of keeping the body preserved from harm of any kind.
This reminds me of the way people tell fear stories (which are not true) to their little children so that they will not venture into the unknown and get hurt. Hence, the mind is neither good nor bad, it is just what it is.
The watcher/the Self is who you are. This body is like a vehicle and you use this vehicle to communicate in this beautiful physical dimension. You know you are thinking because you can watch the thoughts your mind brings about, and so you are not the mind but the watcher of the mind, you can see/feel your body, the body changes every moment, so you are also not your body, you are the watcher of the body.
The watcher is consciousness, there is no woman/ man inside a body, there is only consciousness, and consciousness is eternal, it was present before creation, it was there before knowledge and it is the ALL THAT IS. The moment we connect with consciousness the ego/mind disappears.
Consciousness has no separation, it is the permanent nature of who you are.
Finding the Self and remaining in It is living by planting yourself firmly in your heart space which is the place where the humanness merges with the Divine. It is the place of freedom, fearlessness, wisdom, unconditional love, peace, joy, and enlightenment.

So make small conscious moments in your day to day life in which you become the watcher of your mind, understand that you are the infinite sky where the thought clouds move, they always move away, they do not stay. Learn to identify with the permanent nature of who you are and remain there as many times as you can. For, know that that which you are seeking is also seeking you, you are the one you are waiting for.

GIFT YOURSELF WITH LOVE TODAY

GIFT YOURSELF WITH LOVE TODAY

Sweet Friends,

I love to share my experiences with you because I feel that if I can be or do certain things then so can you.
My life journey is very challenging at this time, but I would like to share the things I discovered on this beautiful life journey.
Loving yourself is the most empowering gift you can give yourself.
You overcome your limitations only by learning to love yourself immensely.
You love yourself not because of selfishness but because you are the temple where in the Divine resides, and every thing you need in life is within your temple, and in order to receive your gifts you connect with your inner being/Divine Presence by loving yourself.
Loving yourself will help you to make powerful right decisions for you in your life.
Loving yourself will help you drop expectations from people, because you satisfy your needs by being your own master.
Loving yourself stops you from taking in other people's opinions about you and everything else as yours.
Loving yourself stops you from comparing and competing with others.
Loving yourself stops you from searching for love, approval, or appreciation from the wrong places, you do not have the need for these things anymore because you learn to approve and appreciate yourself. For you are the only one in life who can love and approve yourself the way you deserve, no one can do this for you.
Loving yourself helps you to come into the knowing that you are a beloved child of the Universe and that every situation or person is sent your way benevolently by the Divine for your greater good. Even though the mind may judge them as good or bad, because you love yourself you will trust in Divine benevolence always.
Loving yourself keeps you balanced and consciously aware so that you master your mind and keep it away from thoughts of destruction or war of any kind.
Loving yourself you consciously and constantly bring in thoughts of kindness towards yourself and others, which helps you to keep away from stress even when you are facing stressful situations.
Loving yourself you will be more alert and aware to the opportunities life opens up for you to use your talents and your gifts in a more satisfying way for yourself and others.
Loving yourself you live from your heart from the place of truth and not from your mind.
Loving yourself you understand that this Universe and its magnificence has been created for your joy and you come into the knowing of ALL IS ONE.

A simple mantra on loving the self:

On waking up please your hand on your heart and say to your sweet self "I love you, you are wonderful"
On looking into the mirror say to your sweet self, "I love you, you are wonderful"
While doing chores, or shopping, say to your sweet self, " l love you, I trust you my Higher Self, you are wonderful"
When you are free write love letters to yourself, "I love myself, I am wonderful"
While looking into your eyes in the mirror tell you sweet self, "I love you, I trust you, you are wonderful"

Do this mantra as many times as you can and notice the beautiful changes within you and surprisingly everything around you :-)  <3 p="">
Let us choose the sure way of empowerment by loving the 'Self' my dear friends.
Blessings!

A Reminder for Today

A POWERFUL REMINDER FOR TODAY:

“We spend precious hours arguing for our limitations, fearing tomorrow, feeling depressed with the past and past actions, finding fault with the people we know and live with. And before we know it, precious moments of our life slip away unnoticed and unused.

This moment we are alive, honored and bestowed with all goodness, if we do not have the eyes to see it they are lost to us, we only have this moment, and let us live our life this moment, here, now. Travelling somewhere to the past or the future in the mind cheats us of the precious gifts of the now moment.

Let us be wise to use the opportunity of living our lives by choosing to forgive, cherish, appreciate, bless, and adore our families, friends, neighbors, and strangers who are benevolently sent to us by the divine every precious moment.

Living consciously and appreciating every moment, we find eternity, we live our truth, and we come to the realization that we truly are eternal, loving, timeless beings!

A REMINDER

A REMINDER FOR TODAY:

The body being is the temple where God/Goddess lives. Connecting with the God/Goddess within releases us from all kinds of fear and stress and empowers us to live as the LOVE that we are.
Loving one self and trusting ones wisdom is one of the ways of connecting back with the Divinity within.
Since the mind likes training and habits, it is good to practice mantras. I have found that the best mantra to connect with the God/Goddess within is to say many times during the day " I love myself, I am wonderful", also look at ourselves in the mirror, and look into the eyes of our mirror image and say, "I love you, you are wonderful", do this remembering that you are the temple where the Divine resides. The more we focus on this, this will become an invitation for the Divine to emerge and shine through us, through our lives and touch this Planet with unconditional love and create 'heaven on earth' every moment.
The more we visualize our beautiful being within, we will breathe it into expression. Happy Creating my sweet friends!
Blessings!

A REMINDER FOR TODAY

http://therisingway.com/2014/08/14/pointing-the-finger/#comment-232

A REMINDER FOR TODAY:

We are attracted to certain people, born into a certain family, or have friendship with certain persons, each and every relationship is made in order to process our fears and get out of our egos, and not because of love as the mind would want one to believe.
It takes monks many years of meditation to let go of the egos and balance themselves. But the switches that our loves ones trigger in us is enough to help us let go of our egos if we are willing to go within and seek out the truth.
It is always when we point a finger at someone, three of our own fingers point at us. So it takes courage and wisdom to analyse what it is about us that attracts a particular person or situation into our life.
A wise and courageous person would seek to change their ways before seeking to change that which is outside them. Because we are in control of ourselves only and no one and nothing outside us.
Every relationship triggers emotions, and every emotion is a gateway to bring wholesome healing within us.

A QUESTION AND ANSWER TO SHARE

A QUESTION AND ANSWER TO SHARE

At this time some dear friends are asking about the possibilities of coming out of extreme emotions of anger, irritation, embarrassment or fear.

Answer:
Encouraging continuous thoughts about the situation that created these emotions are the reason for making them bigger and bigger. Know that you are not your thoughts, you have the choice to encourage these thoughts or just drop them. These thoughts are not going to affect the situation or person who was the reason, these thoughts are going to affect you only by creating stress in your body, so they are not worth it. Just drop these thoughts, you are the master of your life, you can choose and be more kinder to yourself, by dropping these thoughts and focusing on other things. I can suggest some exercises for you to get rid of these stress thoughts, they may sound silly but they are very profound, ----- You can go listen to some music you like, or just go out to the patio and blow bubbles, of if you have a fish tank sit near the fish tank and watch them move around, if you have a garden nearby go and sit under the trees and take time to carefully listen to the bird sounds and feel the wind in the trees, or if you live near a beach then go stand near the water and just feel the sand and the water on your feet, connect back with nature in any way you can as if your very life depends on it. Nature is one of the grandest healers. Just try any of these things for the sake of kindness to yourself, and see how fast you drop the stress thoughts and bring yourself to balance.
The moment we come to balance we are able to see clearly and create grand solutions for our problems.

Blessings!

GRATITUDE IS THE WAY

GRATITUDE IS THE WAY

When we are in the place of Gratitude, our body, mind and soul go through a tremendous healing. We become empowered by Gratitude. Consciously holding the attitude of Gratitude is the grandest prayer. It magnifies good feelings and brings joyous things to us in lightning speed.

Three years ago we moved to the South of Texas. The land had been experiencing a bitter drought and it was a record break of more than a 100 degree temperatures for more than 70 days. We had moved from North Carolina with its green trees everywhere, and Texas was a tumble-weeded contrast. There was nothing green in Texas, and even the grass was brown due to drought. There were no flowers or butterflies either. I decided to rejoice and give thanks. It is very important to give thanks when you meet challenges, for these are contrasts shown by life to trigger your desire of creating beauty, joy, harmony, abundance and peace.

Every time I saw the dry grass and trees, I visualized lush green meadows and green leaved trees with beautiful flowers and butterflies. I was in the place of magic in my mind’s eye, and I was feeling happy. I continued to practice this feeling every day, and the feeling was so powerful that I even clapped my hands in glee sometimes as my feeling and visualizations were so real for me. We came to drought ridden Texas in July of 2009, and the rains began in August. It also rained a lot that winter, and as the land became green, I continued giving thanks and rejoicing. In March of 2010, there came colorful wild flowers of every kind along the wayside, in the grasslands, and in the fields. My heart was filled with laughter every time I went out for a drive. My neighbors told me that they had not seen so many wild flowers such as this for more than 3 years because of the drought. The land bloomed, the rivers filled, and the birds sang songs of happiness and abundance.

Practicing the attitude of Gratitude from deep contemplation and realization from within, allows us look at life with a better vision. Miraculously, things do get better. Gratitude and appreciation toward oneself, creates strong self-respect, high self-esteem, good health, and balanced emotions. Gratitude toward a parent, spouse, or child creates a grand loving relationship. Gratitude toward a friend, creates a beautiful friendship. Gratitude in the work place, creates peace, harmony, and friendly relationships among co-workers. Gratitude toward the land, creates abundance for life. Gratitude toward the environment, reduces the extremes of temperatures and natural calamities. Gratitude for the past experiences, stops dramas in one’s life and creates an atmosphere of completion and peace. With Gratitude toward the Creator, we open our wellspring of love and joy from within. We become unstoppable, energizing batteries of love, joy, and peace in our life and for the Planet.

All things created, seen or unseen, gravitate toward the Attitude of Gratitude; it is a Universal Law!

Acknowledging this Law we become the Grand Creators of our reality. When we choose to see every life experience (good or bad) from the place of Gratitude, our heart opens and our life becomes a prayer – a gratitude prayer that is held in awe by the body temple.

The very moment Gratitude enters, every aspect of life – physical, emotional, and mental – every aspect of living is completely HEALED!
GRATITUDE IS THE GREATEST OF ALL PRAYERS AND ALL VIRTUES.

Blessings!
