THIS WORLD IS A PROJECTION OF OUR THINKING

THIS WORLD IS A PROJECTION OF OUR THINKING
We do not actually love others; we only love the concepts we have about them. We project our concepts on to the world and we compare. It is not possible to have the idea of a mistake unless we are comparing our ideas and concepts with the reality of the world outside. The concept of a mistake happens only in the mind story. As long as we hold on to a negative concept about someone, we will continue to project it on to everyone. This is how we create a discord in our reality. So if there is a discord in our reality on the outside, we need to go within and heal the concept inside us. When we learn to love ourselves truly, it will not be possible to project the concept that other people do not love us. What we give to ourselves, we will project on to the world outside.
We deplete our energy by attaching to our judgments about the world. Instead of healing ourselves, we start searching for that perfect person who would love and understand us and complete us in all of the ways that we could not. In our search, we demand that our parent, spouse, or children validate the caring, the love, the nurturing, the acceptance, and the respect that we are not giving ourselves. That is why we want them to behave according to our ideals and our concepts. We try to mould them to our whims and fancies, and we create discord in our relationships when they are not what we want them to be. We never get to truly know them or see them as they are as we constantly seek to see them only from our ideals. Hence, we lose the joy of knowing the true person in our lifetime.
Each person is a universe unto themselves. Each person can understand only their own story. No one can ever understand another person’s story, and even if they do understand, it will only be from their perspective. Therefore, no one will be able to love or understand you the way that you want. Realizing this is a grand freedom. Realizing this we come to the understanding that the only person who can love and understand us the way we want is our own self. We are the ones we are seeking.
The only true love affair is what we have with ourselves. The experience of love and understanding cannot come from anyone outside us; it can only come from within us. I cannot tell you truly that I love you, all I can say is “I love me more when I am with you” or “I love me more for having created you in my space.”
We are one hundred percent responsible for our own happiness; no one has authority over our life as only we have the authority. By noticing the concepts and thoughts that we attach to, we realize that no one can frighten us – it is our own doing. The world is a projection of our thinking. So when we understand our thinking, we understand the world. When we are at peace within ourselves, the world is at peace. When we love ourselves, there is clarity in our mind and through clarity we can see that all is good. We are all absolutely safe, and there are no mistakes in the Universe.
Blessings!

UNITY CONSCIOUSNESS BREATH MEDITATION By Solara An-Ra
Sweet Friends,
This is one of the few meditations that I love to do everyday, especially I do this as soon as I wake up in the morning. It takes just 10 minutes to do this.
This meditation uplifts my spirit and makes me feel close to the heart of Father Mother God.
The 3 great experiences of this meditation are awakening of the pineal, healing body, mind and soul, and tuning with the 5th dimensional Christ consciousness.
Solara An-Ra is a beautiful being of immense love and light and her work on this Planet is truly wonderful! She is a champion for humanity!
Her website http://www.solara.org.uk has many free meditations with transcripts for each. Each meditation brings a beautiful experience of rejuvenating the body, mind, and soul!
Let us choose to live close to the heart of the Creator, let us choose to love and empower ourselves.

AWARENESS

AWARENESS OF UNIVERSAL ENERGY
(An Excerpt from my book "Twelve Steps to Inner Peace")
Quantum physics states that this is a participatory universe. The abundant creative energies of the Universe respond to our expectations, and they are connected to human consciousness through intention. Every thought and feeling radiates from us in the form of energy fields that pour out into the universe and affect other energy fields around us. Our attention is awareness; it is energy through which we communicate with life. We have the freedom to choose to place our attention anywhere we like. The benevolent universal energies respond to our attention and co-create with us. This is why whatever we focus on magnifies.
Due to the fall of consciousness, many are unconscious of being unconscious. The few who came into this knowledge took advantage of the fallen human situation to gain power and control over the many as they learned to direct the attention of the masses on images of trauma, despair and destruction. The repeated focus of attention on words, pictures, and descriptions generate tremendous energy and thought forms from the masses that continue to create hopelessness and powerlessness on life situations.
Thoughts and feelings are very real and they have form. Our imaginations are powerful tools to create what we want in life.
All of the events of our life and of the planet are not random, meaningless acts. They are our unconscious creation due to lack of awareness. We are made up of both the physical and the non-physical material of the Universe, and according to the law of, “as above so below; as below so above,” the universal energies support us in the creation of the collective ideals. The collective imaginations and agreements of all participants in the physical are supported in the non-physical and an energy structure is created according to the beliefs of the collective.
Being born into a collective consciousness on the planet is a powerful venture; it is a gift. Every individual affects the collective by their thoughts and feelings created by what they choose to believe at any given moment. Choosing to wake up and be in the place of awareness, in the present moment, is our gift to life.
This is the time of the birthing of a new humanity. A humanity that walks the planet in complete awareness. The cosmic intelligence of the Universe is constantly inviting us to wake up, to be aware and alert, and to consciously co-create with the goodness of the Universal energies NOW.
The innumerable crop circles, the meteor showers, solar flares, eclipses, and pole shifts are urging us to wake up to the truth of our connection to the Universe, and to be awakened to our power as being of peace and compassionate generosity.
Our bodies are intelligent tools that have been given to us to wake up to our power. Noticing our breath, connecting to our heartbeat, and viewing our world from the center of our head, are powerful ways to stay in awareness. Practicing pranic breathing connects us to the wisdom of our heart.
Albert Einstein stated that “We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them.” This is very true because we cannot change our reality from the same consciousness that made it. We must wake up and shift our consciousness toward what we want to create through being alert and aware in the present moment.
Blessings!

PRACTICING THE ART OF KINDNESS

PRACTICING THE ART OF KINDNESS
Kindness is the greatest art of human living. Kindness makes life more sacred. Kindness builds Heaven on Earth.
Some may say that knowledge is the first requirement for living a human life, but I observe that kindness is the first requirement. For, knowledge can be easily available through books, teachers, and experiences; knowledge is just an imitation of all things learned. They can never truly connect with, or weave harmony among humanity.
In fact knowledge and cleverness so far has only helped to create a world of chaos. Knowledge and cleverness cannot give birth to Wisdom.
Wisdom comes from practicing the 'heart truths' of kindness, gentleness, and understanding. Practicing the art of kindness starts with oneself. Practicing kindness, one does not attach to thoughts of fear, sadness, guilt, or resentment that arise in the mind. One does not terrorize oneself with the fear stories and imaginations of the mind. One lives in kindness as kindness itself; living totally in the place of trust.
Kindness towards oneself brings the understanding that life is not difficult, but it is the images created in the mind (the thinking), that makes it difficult. When we undo the turmoil on the inside, the world around us becomes peaceful and quiet. Our world on the outside is projected from the consciousness we hold on the inside. When we choose to practice kindness on the inside, we project a much kinder world on the outside.
Let us practice being kind to ourselves so that our world on the outside becomes more kinder.
Blessings!

ARE YOU WILLING TO 'SWITCH ON' THE LIGHT?

ARE YOU WILLING TO 'SWITCH ON' THE LIGHT?
In a dark room if you 'switch on' the light, the darkness disappears. In the same way when you are in the dark with low frequency thoughts of anger, guilt, shame, hatred, or fear, you can switch on the light of peace, kindness, harmony, and fun.
The 'switch' is the willingness to drop the thoughts of low frequency and become more loving towards yourself.
Know that low frequency, or darkness is created only by thoughts, you are much more powerful than your thoughts.
It is possible to 'switch on' to thoughts of higher frequencies of love, peace, and kindness. Have you noticed that when you think about a comedy or some fun activity that you did a few weeks, months, or even years ago, immediately makes your body to smile or even laugh out loud. Also have you noticed that when you think about a tragedy that happened years ago, it makes you feel sad.
Notice that your body does not know if the situation you are feeding it by thoughts happened yesterday, a year ago or eons ago. The body lives in the now moment, and it accepts obediently what you feed it. So if you feed it thoughts of love and kindness, it will respond with joy and well being. And if you choose to feed it negative, fear thoughts, it responds with sadness, anxiety and increased amount of adrenaline secretion which leads to innumerable physical discomfort and problems.
The 'switch' is in your hands, you can either switch on the thoughts of high frequency or live in the thoughts of darkness, of low frequency. Remember the light will dissolve the darkness, it always does! The choice is yours.
Blessings!

GENEROSITY

GENEROSITY
(An Excerpt from my book "Twelve Steps to Inner Peace")

If in my consciousness I am holding on to the concepts of suffering, then I have no light to shine for others. If I continue to help people from this consciousness, I will be only giving my attention to their pain. Therefore, my mind would get busy focusing on their anguish and amplifying it.
You cannot be fully present for people if you are focusing on their pain. Anyone in pain needs to hold the hand of a person who is emotionally strong, happy, and capable to see the best in them and in that situation. Not someone who is projecting the pain thus becoming completely helpless themselves.
I remember one occasion when I had visited with the nuns at Mother Teresa’s “Home for the dying destitute” in India. It so happened on this particular day that they had found a man left to die on the streets. They picked him up, brought him to their center, and proceeded to give him a warm sponge bath. One of the nuns was holding the man while the other was sponging and cleaning him. The man gave a sigh, just closed his eyes, and died in the arms of the nuns. At first they were shocked, but when they realized he had died, they laughed. I was puzzled and asked them about it. The reply they gave me was so profound that I carry it in my heart to this very day. They said that Mother Teresa had shared with them the meaning of their service to humanity. She had said that God comes to us in distressing disguise to trigger the generosity and kindness in our hearts.

Generosity is a concept; but unless we do an act of generosity, we do not understand what it is. So these nuns understood that the dying man was a definite distressing disguise of God helping them to awaken the generosity and kindness within them. They rejoiced and were thankful for this expansion of consciousness!
When we understand that a benevolent Creator created the world lovingly for us, we understand our experiences of expanded consciousness. And when we understand our experiences, we understand the world and in that understanding, comes Peace.
Blessings!

BEING CONSCIOUS OF NEEDINESS

BEING CONSCIOUS OF NEEDINESS
(An Excerpt from my book "Twelve Steps to Inner Peace")

Most of us are unconsciously addicted to neediness. This unconsciousness makes us constantly in need of others' love, approval, reward, recognition, acknowledgement, and attention. In order to get this, we go out of our way to please others and do all that which is not true for us.
We forget how to be ourselves. In our neediness, we strive to do the things that the other person likes; we forget what we like.   We put up with things that our body and mind does not approve of just to satisfy the need of getting the attention of the other person. We easily accept any kind of abuse or humiliation just because of our neediness of the other person's love, or approval.
This unconscious behavior makes every human relationship painful.  Then worry, doubt, stress, and anxiety become the norm of everyday life.    We come into this world alone, and we go back alone. We are Divine beings, and our Divinity within is abundant enough to satisfy all of our needs. The problem began when we lost focus on our Divinity within and started focusing on the outside for our needs. Attachment to something outside the self is an illusion. Even if people love each other very much and tend to cling to each other while awake, at some point sleep walks in and takes each one far away to mysterious lands.
When we grow up, our senses start working, and we see that we are alone. As we never trained our senses to go within, we often end up attaching ourselves to people, power, and material things on the outside.
Every indulgence of clinging or neediness on the outside, is a sure sign of forgetting to connect with the Divinity within. Neediness comes out of the fear of being alone.    When we choose to focus, connect, and grow in the Divinity within us, we are doing a great service for ourselves. By focusing on the Divinity within, we become mature, alert, awake, satisfied, loving, and compassionate. We become the wellspring of understanding and wisdom.  Our actions and relationships are authentic when they come from the place of the Divinity within. All actions and relationships that arise from the mind and its logic, will be out of neediness. Every action that is not from the place of Divinity within, will automatically seek for approval or reward. It will come from the place of expectation, and expectations lead to disappointments.
When we understand and accept our whole selves from the heart, we radiate with the light of wisdom from within. We can then go beyond need, and we can share our light with others. Otherwise, when we have no light in us, we will become addicted to things on the outside to satisfy. However, the things on the outside can never satisfy us. We will continue to seek and in our seeking, we will not be able to live in our truth. When we do not live in our truth, we lose our joy.
We can help others only when we have helped ourselves first. This brings to me the flight safety instructions on an airplane, which simply say, to first put the oxygen mask on you before helping anyone else, even if it is a child.
Let us choose to identify, to notice our neediness with an open mind, let us catch ourselves in the act of self-sabotage, and change our programming to self-growth and well being.
Blessings!

MY FAVORITE QUOTE FOR TODAY

“The Hindu deity Hanuman offers a similar example of devotional service. Every act he performs becomes an offering to Rama (God). His service brings him to the very edge of unitive love. How powerful his vision: “When I know who I am, I am you,” he says, kneeling before Rama, “when I don’t know who I am, I serve you.”
― Ram Dass

We Are One

POWERFUL REMINDER
We All are One
“Souls love. That’s what souls do. Egos don’t, but souls do. Become a soul, look around, and you’ll be amazed-all the beings around you are souls. Be one, see one. When many people have this heart connection, then we will know that we are all one, we human beings all over the planet. We will be one. One love. And don’t leave out the animals, and trees, and clouds, and galaxies-it’s all one. It’s one energy.”
― Ram Dass

A beautiful story of Awakening

JOURNEY OF AWAKENING
“A young lad was sent to school. He began his lessons with the other children, and the first lesson the teacher set him was the straight line, the figure “one.” But whereas the others went on progressing, this child continued writing the same figure. After two or three days the teacher came up to him and said, “Have you finished your lesson?” He said, “No, I’m still writing ‘one.’ ” He went on doing the same thing, and when at the end of the week the teacher asked him again he said, “I have not yet finished it.” The teacher thought he was an idiot and should be sent away, as he could not or did not want to learn. At home the child continued with the same exercise and the parents also became tired and disgusted. He simply said, “I have not yet learned it, I am learning it. When I have finished I shall take the other lessons.” The parents said, “The other children are going on further, school has given you up, and you do not show any progress; we are tired of you.” And the lad thought with sad heart that as he had displeased his parents too he had better leave home. So he went into the wilderness and lived on fruits and nuts. After a long time he returned to his old school. And when he saw the teacher he said to him, “I think I have learned it. See if I have. Shall I write on this wall?” And when he made his sign the wall split in two. —Hazrat Inayat Khan The Sufi Message of Hazrat Inayat Khan”

SACRED HUMAN CONNECTIONS

SACRED HUMAN CONNECTIONS
(An Excerpt from my book "Twelve steps to Inner Peace")
The last frontier of humanity is not the evolution of technology, but it is the evolution into Higher Consciousness. The projected world outside is the mirror image of the world inside. Every relationship becomes a tool for the evolvement of Higher Consciousness.
To become fully conscious of the true self, we need to understand that every single human being that comes into our space is a true reflection of us. If the person shows beauty, grace and wisdom, they are truly reflecting us, if they show greed, selfishness, or cruelty; they are also truly reflecting us. We live our lives denying our dark side. One of the most important spiritual practices is to acknowledge our dark side and understand that a person with dark qualities comes into our lives in order for us to bring this quality into the light. The moment we acknowledge and forgive the dark side in us, and willingly embrace both the light and dark sides of ourselves, we come to a better understanding of the Universal consciousness, and we begin to heal ourselves and our relationships.
Healing ourselves can happen only by aligning ourselves with our Divine Presence. The more we align ourselves, the more we will love and be in joy with ourselves. We will start enjoying our own company because our life will no longer be mind-ridden as it will be from the place of devotion to the Divine. Life becomes an overflowing joy for no reason, joy becomes our true nature, and we do not need to depend on anyone to bring us joy or comfort. We become a well spring of joy, and our joy is so infectious that it embraces all life in unconditional love.
Aligning with Divinity every day helps us to be aware of the mind stories and to drop them. Letting go the mind stories and letting go of searching for reasons, we come into our freedom from suffering. Duality of the world is not the suffering, but the mind stories about the duality is the cause of suffering.
Every human relationship is also a creation from our consciousness. As souls we choose our parents and families to be born into and as we start growing up, our consciousness chooses to bring people into our lives for us to relate, interact and grow with. When we are living from the mind story, we start judging, comparing, competing, blaming, and finally suffering with our relationships.
According to the words of Rumi:
“The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don't finally meet somewhere. They're in each other all along.”
People do not come into our lives by chance or by accident. From our deep consciousness we create them in our life. We call unto their souls to come and play with us. When we are in alignment with our Divine Presence, we relate to people with gratitude and respect. Our joy and unconditional love overflows and helps our partners and us to grow in wisdom and to expand in consciousness.
Every human is unique. Every person lives in his or her own mind created world, and every person has his or her own ideas, thoughts, and concepts. Every human relationship is sacred because every relationship triggers a conflict with the mind stories. You are not even aware of your mind stories until someone comes along to challenge them. If you are living attached to your mind stories, much conflict and confusion will be created. But when you choose to align with your Divine Presence, you will be lead to drop your mind stories through the light of understanding. You will then be your own savior and you will not hold people responsible for your happiness. You will be aware that the sacredness of every human relationship is to help you to grow in wisdom and understanding.
Blessings!

A Reminder

POWERFUL REMINDER

Every human relationship is sacred. Relationships founded on obligations or expectations are stressed and lack freedom and love. A perfect loving relationship is the one where there are no demands, no expectations, and no dependency.
I am reminded of the Gestalt Prayer

I do my thing and you do your thing.
I am not in this world to live up to your expectations,
And you are not in this world to live up to mine.
You are you, and I am I,
and if by chance we find each other, it's beautiful.

(Fritz Perls, "Gestalt Therapy Verbatim", 1969)

STOPPING MEDITATION

STOPPING MEDITATION
A message from Neale Donald Walsch
There are many ways to meditate, and it was a wonderful discovery when I learned this. One of the most powerful forms of meditation for me is what I have called Stopping Meditation. The reason this is so powerful for me is that it can be done anywhere, and it takes very little time. Therefore, it is perfect for busy people "on the go."
Stopping Meditation means just that. It means we stop whatever we are doing for just a moment and pay attention to something about it. We dissect it in that moment, and then look closely at one of its individual pieces.
Stopping Meditation can be used in the midst of a very busy day.
Here is how Stopping Meditation works.
Decide that six times today (and every day) you will stop whatever you are doing for 10 seconds and look closely and intently at one of its component pieces.
Let us say you are washing the dishes. Stop what you are doing for 10 seconds-just STOP in the middle of it-and peer deep inside one aspect of what you are doing. Look, perhaps, at the water. See it splashing on the dishes. See if you can count the drops of water on the dish in your hand. Just count the water drops. I know it is an impossible task, but undertake to do it anyway, just for 10 seconds.
Consider the wonder of the water. Look deeply into it. Peer inside. GO inside, in your Consciousness. See what you experience there, see what you find. Just stop for a tiny moment and appreciate that moment in a singular way.
Okay, now the 10 seconds are up. Now pull yourself out of that highly focused reality and back into the larger space of your experience. Don't get "lost" in it. Blink your eyes rapidly, or snap your finger, and literally snap out of it. Then, notice what you experienced for that brief moment.
Now go on with what you were doing. Yet don't be surprised if it takes on a whole new quality.
What you have done is truly appreciate something. To "appreciate" something is to make it larger, to increase it, as property, for instance, appreciates in value.
When you use Stopping Meditation, you increase the value of your life. And of life itself. It has been my experience that this inevitably returns me to a place of peace.
In order to remind yourself to do this six times a day you may wish to have a little timer with you, or set your watch to beep. Later, as you get used to doing this, your stopping will come automatically to you. You will do this without having to be reminded.
Walking down the street, you will simply stop for a moment and select a portion of what you are seeing and see it again, in a deeper way. You will know what you already know about that, but you will know it in a deeper way. This is called "knowing again," or re-cognizing. The purpose of all of your life is simply this: to know again, to recognize, what is true, and Who You Really Are.
There are a thousand ways to do this. Maybe you catch a reflection of yourself in a store window. Maybe you see a bus going by. Perhaps you spy a dog on the street, or a pebble at your feet. It does not matter what you focus on for those 10 seconds. Just stop for a tiny moment and appreciate that moment in a singular way.
Experience this while making love. Stop what you are doing for 10 seconds, separate the moment into its component parts, select one part of the moment and peer deeply into it. Maybe it is the look in your beloved's eyes. Maybe it is a sensation you are feeling-or creating. Just stop for a tiny moment and appreciate that moment in a singular way.
I have regular times when I do this, and making love is one of them. Standing in the shower is another. Eating food is another. Pick up a pea from the plate, or a kernel of corn. Consider it. Appreciate it. Taste it utterly and completely. Your meal times will never be the same. Your showers will never be the same. Your lovemaking will never be the same. YOU will never be the same.
This is Stopping Meditation. It takes one minute a day. Sixty seconds, in six individual installments. Six moments within which you may produce The Holy Experience.
Today, stop what you are doing. Just STOP. Look deeply into the moment. If nothing else, just close your eyes and focus on the sound of your own breath. Experience the pure energy of life moving into and through your body. Just for that moment, listen to yourself breathe. Watch yourself take deeper breaths. Just listening to yourself makes you want to go deeper into the experience-and so you begin to breath more deeply. It is a wonderful thing, an extraordinary thing. Just STOPPING makes you go deeper. Deeper into your experience, deeper into the mind of God.

KINDNESS TO THE PLANET IS KINDNESS TO ONESELF

KINDNESS TO THE PLANET IS KINDNESS TO ONESELF

As we all know our Mother Earth is going through the Great Shift. This huge shift in consciousness, one that occurs once in 26,000 years. And usually in such a shift the entire planet is wiped out of all life, but we chose to stay with the Earth to consciously awaken ourselves. When we connect with the Earth everyday from our heart and mind the Earth will carry us smoothly along the shift, for the Earth is a Great wise being!

"Due to the fall in consciousness we forgot that the Earth and everything around us is very much alive, and very much willing to co-create with us, we thought we needed to make inventions to make things work and make ourselves too busy that we are not available to be there for others or even for ourselves , this further pushed us into the deepest slumber where we do not even understand that we are the sleeping creators of our reality."

Our bodies are borrowed earth, our emotions are borrowed energy, and our thoughts are borrowed information.  Our Earth Mother nourishes us, shelters, clothes and heals us; this Planet is our home and humanity is our family. Everything and anything that we consider to be US is actually stuff borrowed from Mother Earth, so it is wise to choose to live in oneness with the Earth and all its beings, for I believe that this will help us to truly reach home, to the heart of the Creator.

It is time we wake up and take responsibility to cherish and love ourselves, our Planet home and our human family. I have heard that the Tibetan Lama's special ritual everyday is to sit on the ground and touch the Earth with their palms spread wide and send loving thoughts to Mother Earth.  I feel the Earth responds lovingly to their kindness.  Let us choose to be kind to ourselves and to our Planet in every way we can!
Blessings!
