ALL RELATIONSHIPS BEGIN FROM LOVING THE SELF

ALL RELATIONSHIPS BEGIN FROM LOVING THE SELF

To have harmonious relationships outside the self, one must first heal the relationship within the self. Relationship with oneself begins by loving and accepting oneself completely. We are responsible for our happiness absolutely. No one can make us happy or sad as it is our freewill to make ourselves happy or sad. We look at the world from our perception and we create our reality from the meaning we choose to give to life.

When we learn to love and accept ourselves completely, humility is born. Humility is emptying oneself of all of the stories of the past. Removing all of the labels of who or what we think we are. It is a most challenging journey and it is the journey to transformation. Without loving and accepting the self, one cannot understand humility. If we try to practice humility before loving and understanding the self, we will tend to live from the stories of woundedness, self pity, and lack of self esteem. Many times we give the meaning of humble to be weak.

Humility is not about weakness or lack of self esteem. Humility is power through emptying the self of past stories in order to allow the LOVE of the Creator to flow through. You cannot truly receive when you are full of the past stories of the I as the story of the I completely fills you and there is no space for the Creator anywhere.

Humility is the place of complete emptiness – emptiness to a sense of I. As long as there is an I, there is the control of the ego mind. The I likes to give but not to receive, it likes to keep memories, it likes to keep accounts, it summarizes and compares, and it thinks that it is all knowing. Only when we learn to drop the I, do we become the empty cup where the Divine Presence can fill us. We cannot receive if we are full of the I. We continue to give, to interact from the place of I, and we never know to receive. Receiving love, grace, and kindness from people around us and from the divine becomes very difficult when we do not empty the I in ourselves. The foundation for a true relationship is in giving and receiving as relationships must be balanced with giving and receiving. If there is no one to receive what you give, how will you be able to give it, how will you come to know what generosity is, and what love is. A true relationship is born from dropping the I, to let go of control, and to let go of the past and all of its stories of hurt and distress.

Only when we drop the stories of the past, we will become empty to receive, enjoy, and savor love. A relationship with the Creator or with anyone outside the self is fulfilled only when we have relaxed into the place of emptying, allowing, and accepting.

THE ONLY TRUE LOVE AFFAIR IS THE ONE WE HAVE WITH OURSELVES

THE ONLY TRUE LOVE AFFAIR IS THE ONE WE HAVE WITH OURSELVES

We deplete our energy by attaching to our judgments about the world. Instead of healing ourselves, we start searching for that perfect person who would love and understand us and complete us in all of the ways that we could not. In our search, we demand that our parent, spouse, or children validate the caring, the love, the nurturing, the acceptance, and the respect that we are not giving ourselves. That is why we want them to behave according to our ideals and our concepts. We try to mold them to our whims and fancies, and we create discord in our relationships when they are not what we want them to be. We never get to truly know them or see them as they are as we constantly seek to see them only from our ideals. Hence, we lose the joy of knowing the true person in our lifetime.

Each person is a universe unto themselves. Each person can understand only their own story. No one can ever understand another person’s story, and even if they do understand, it will only be from their perspective. Therefore, no one will be able to love or understand you the way that you want. Realizing this is a grand freedom. Realizing this we come to the understanding that the only person who can love and understand us the way we want is our own self. We are the ones we are seeking. The only true love affair is what we have with ourselves. The experience of love and understanding cannot come from anyone outside us; it can only come from within us. I cannot tell you truly that I love you, all I can say is “I love me more when I am with you” or “I love me more for having created you in my space.”

We are one hundred percent responsible for our own happiness; no one has authority over our life as only we have the authority. By noticing the concepts and thoughts that we attach to, we realize that no one can frighten us – it is our own doing. The world is a projection of our thinking. So when we understand our thinking, we understand the world. When we are at peace within ourselves, the world is at peace. When we love ourselves, there is clarity in our mind and through clarity we can see that all is good. We are all absolutely safe, and there are no mistakes in the Universe.

RESOLVING DISCORD AND CREATING GRANDNESS

RESOLVING DISCORD AND CREATING GRANDNESS

Do you notice repeated occurrences in life, the very situation we try to avoid comes back and visits us again and again ? Even if we try to change our place, our jobs, our relationships, even if we try to hide, the same situation comes back to visit us in another person, or in another form. Sometimes we try to help someone resolve a bad situation, and suddenly we find ourselves in the same situation.

If we contemplate on this deeply, it is clearly revealed that that which we continue to judge and condemn becomes our shadow and stays with us, till we choose to accept the responsibility for creating it and resolve it with forgiveness and understanding.

The world is our mirror, there is no other here, there is only one of us.
The mirror smiles if we smile and it scowls if we scowl at it.
Every situation or person we perceive on the outside is an expression of the consciousness we hold on the inside.
So at this moment if you have someone in front of you who is radiating love and peace, then it is the consciousness that you hold inside which is responsible for it, and in the same way if you are experiencing irritation and discord of what is happening in front of you then it is again because of the consciousness that you are holding on the inside. No person, no situation has the power to make us sad, angry, irritated or peaceful, we are the authors and executors of these things absolutely.

Till we resolve the discordant situation with forgiveness, understanding, and non-judgment, the situation will continue to appear in one form or other in our life.
We have fallen into a deep sleep of unconsciousness and continue to play the blame games of believing that everything on the outside is the reason for all bad situations in life. Waking up to the truth that we are 100% responsible for everything that is happening around us is the most powerful key.

To begin to see the reflection of the physical reality we want, the first step is to see everything on the outside as a reflection on a mirror. when you look at your reflection in the mirror, you know that you are not really inside the mirror. So if you need to change the reflection in the mirror, you do not go to the mirror to change the reflection, you change yourself in order to see a change in the mirror's reflection. Any change in the outer reality must begin from the inner reality, within your consciousness, which is your state of being.

True meditation is taking time to sit with yourself and noticing the thoughts that do not support you, question them, see them from the place of understanding and let them go. We are the masters of our life; the captains of our ship; and we absolutely have the choice to create our world the way we want it to be.
Let us choose to take responsibility for our creations. We are the bringers of wisdom, radiance, and peace for this Planet. Let us choose to play this game of "life" wisely.
Blessings!

A Favorite Quote from JB Taylor's book

MY FAVORITE QUOTE FOR TODAY:
~From Jill Bolte Taylor - Read her book "My Stroke of Insight"

“Our right hemisphere is all about this present moment. It’s all about right here right now. Our right hemisphere, it thinks in pictures and it learns kinesthetically through the movement of our bodies. Information in the form of energy streams in simultaneously through all of our sensory systems. And then it explodes into this enormous collage of what this present moment looks like.

What this present moment smells like and tastes like, what it feels like and what it sounds like. I am an energy being connected to the energy all around me through the consciousness of my right hemisphere. We are energy beings connected to one another through the consciousness of our right hemispheres as one human family. And right here, right now, all we are brothers and sisters on this planet, here to make the world a better place. And in this moment we are perfect. We are whole. And we are beautiful.”

PRACTICING STILLNESS

While dealing with chaos and injustice, many choose to react rather than respond. Reaction is always from the mind and its confusion, it will never help us in anyway. The ability to respond, responsibility towards any situation is a grander human virtue that arises from the place of stillness.
Being in the place of stillness we come to know that we can never let the chaos and injustice to make us so blind with anger that we become part of the problem.
The only true revolutionary ideals are understanding, kindness, compassion and love. When we compromise these things we become what we despise and we lose our humanity.
Let us choose to respond to life rather than react.
Blessings!

THE MIRACLE OF LIFE

THE MIRACLE OF LIFE
We are eternal beings of immense love and light, the material we are made of is unconditional love and compassion, we come and live inside these body vehicles and witness that which is called "life". From our witnessing we gather immense wisdom and carry it on our journey beyond time and space.  We gather wisdom by living every moment of life consciously. Living consciously is experiencing life, life experience is not about the jobs we do, or the salaries or the degrees we earn, or the buildings and properties we build.  The experience and wisdom we gather from life is all about our relationship with ourselves, with the people around us, with the situations and with the Creator. Consciously  choosing to bringing peace and understanding within ourselves and with every person and every situation in life is the grandest wisdom we gather and take with us on our journey beyond time and space.  We are eternal travelers beyond time and space, our stay in this body is just for a short while, let us choose to play this game called "life" on Planet Earth with conscious awareness and harvest greater wisdom and understanding to carry with us to the Universes and Galaxies beyond.
Making Peace with humanity and divinity in physicality is the miracle of life.
Blessings!

RE - MEMBERING OUR DIVINITY

RE-MEMBERING OUR DIVINITY

A QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION TO SHARE:

This world and its busyness keeps us away from being the Joy that we are, unfortunately many are living in stress because of this. A sweet friend asked me how to get out of this stress.
The Answer:
Let me share with you some powerful truths that you need to listen with your heart and not with your mind.
The mind knows only what it knows, all the data it collects from the 5 senses of physicality and thinks that that is all there is.
But your heart knows more. So whatever I am going to share with you now is ancient knowledge that your heart understands.
You are not this body, or the name that people refer you to. You are a great being of immense love and light, you are a traveler beyond time and space, and in this magnificent journey you allowed a tiny part of yourself to come and reside inside this physical body to witness that which is called the physical life, because you loved the Creator so much. You emanated from the Creator, the Creator did not make you, you are a part of the Creator itself.
So this lifetime of yours is not about the mundane things of the modern 'busy' life, of getting degrees, jobs, salaries, marriages, etc. your lifetime is a sacred journey, it is all about your relationship with yourself and with life.
It is your mission at this time to make your relationship with yourself very loving and kind, because only when you love yourself you can truly love others outside you whether it be spouses or parents or siblings or friends, without giving love to yourself first you cannot share the love with others. You can give only what you have. And love is what creates 'Heaven on Earth'.
We create 'Heaven ' by taking care of ourselves with kindness and love in our thoughts, actions, and words.

Bless yourself everyday. Start with gratitude. Gratitude is the most powerful prayer you can give to the Creator.
Gratitude brings joy to your heart, start with gratitude for simple things, for the air you breathe, for the birds that sing near your window, for the loving people around you, for the things that make your life comfortable, ..... the list can go on and on.
We cannot give money or material things to the Creator as gifts, our gratitude is the greatest and most powerful gift we can give.
Somewhere along the way we forget who we are and we start comparing and competing with people around us and that is the cause of stress.
Each and every one of us are unique and our only mission here on this Planet is to love our Self and share this love with the Planet, and when you be and do these things, things which you are searching for will automatically come to you, everything will fall into place for love.

These are the two powerful exercises that you can do to uplift yourself to the JOY that you are, the Creator made you in JOY, who you are is JOY, and every time we forget this JOY we go into dis- ease of the body, mind and spirit.
Do these two exercises diligently in order to bring yourself back to the person God made you to be and to bring success into your life and in the life of your loved ones.

Exercise 1
Gratitude Journal'
Start a gratitude journal today.
Take a notebook and keep it exclusively for yourself. Remember the things you are thankful for, like the air you breathe, your loved ones, the house you live, nature and its beauty around you, anything and everything......
Start writing before going to bed at least three things you are thankful for in you life.
Every day increase the number from 3 to more than 3 and go on....
Do this diligently every day before going to bed. Thank the Creator sincerely from your heart.

Exercise 2
Loving the Self

Understand that your body is the temple where the Divine resides. To live in oneness with the Divine and fulfill your Divine purpose on this Planet,
start loving the Self immensely.

The mantra: mantras become magic only with your feelings otherwise they just remain as words.
So pour your feelings into this mantra and say it aloud to yourself in front of a mirror by looking into the eyes of the one in the mirror.
At first this may sound silly but with practice you will notice the grand difference it makes.
Memorize and Say this mantra aloud or silently to yourself many times during the day, while cooking, shopping, washing, etc, anytime anyplace
Take a journal and write it to yourself like a love letter many times during the day.
For many years the world taught you not to love yourself, now it is time to understand that you are the Divinity that God created so beautifully, it is time to acknowledge your divinity.

The MANTRA:'

"I love myself
I am wonderful
Today is one of the best days of my life
Everything is working out for my highest good
Whatever I need to know is revealed to me
Whatever I need comes to me
All is well"
(Affirmation from Louise Hay)

You can also write it an put it near your computer, the bathroom mirror, the fridge, to make it a prominent reminder in your life.

May we remember our divinity and live in oneness with the JOY that we are Created to be!
Blessings!

LOOKING THROUGH THE EYES OF GRATITUDE

LOOKING THROUGH THE EYES OF GRATITUDE

At one time, I became so attached to my mind and its fear stories that I could literally feel fear as a heavy physical thing from my throat to my belly controlling my every action. I continued to pray for help every night before going to sleep. I had a strange dream where I was a body without the head, and I was walking down the street. I saw my body without the head yet I was not in any pain, and I heard a voice telling me again and again to put on the head. I did not understand the dream at that time. The same dream came to me again the next day. I woke up and without opening my eyes, I prayed for the meaning.
“Put on the head of God,” was the answer that came.
The realization was that I was living in so much fear because I was seeing the world through my mind. My soul was asking me to get out of my mind and its fear stories. My soul was asking me to look at the world through the eyes of the Creator – the Creator whose infinite love and wisdom has created nothing other than excellence and eternal goodness around me.
I understood that I was loved so greatly that I was given complete dignity and freewill to create the world around me through my point of view. The vibration of life around me aligned itself to my state of consciousness. This I realized, was the grandest gift that helped me to know myself. It helped me to seek for answers and greater solutions, and it helped me to expand my consciousness as an eternal being of immense potentials.
This experience taught me to rejoice every time my mind showed me something dark, heavy, or fearful, and I knew that it would motivate me to search for greater solutions. I believe that this is true for every human being. As long as I believed the negative concepts about a person or situation from my mind, such as my neighbor should not be so loud, or my child should obey me, or she should not be so unkind, or the weather should not be so hot or cold, I would make it true for me. I would then project it on to the world around me and continue to create it. The Universe around me is so benevolent that it constantly seeks to prove me right.
This powerful realization made me to choose what I want to believe about myself or anyone else. As a healer, I realized that I could only help others when I am able to align myself with the eyes of Gratitude. My thirst to help others was wonderful but I also realized that unless I learn to look at life from the place of gratitude and align myself with my joy, I would not be able to help myself or anyone else.
If in my consciousness I am holding on to the concepts of suffering, then I have no light to shine for others. If I continue to help people from this consciousness, I will be only giving my attention to their pain. Therefore, my mind would get busy focusing on their anguish and amplifying it.
You cannot be fully present for people if you are focusing on their pain. Anyone in pain needs to hold the hand of a person who is emotionally strong, happy, and capable to see the best in them and in that situation and not someone who is projecting the pain thus becoming completely helpless themselves.
